OT for Children
At Kalos Therapy, we provide personalised and engaging occupational therapy (OT) services for children, focusing on supporting their growth, independence, and overall wellbeing.
Our approach is child-centred, meaning we tailor each session to the individual needs, strengths, and interests of the child. Whether working on fine motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, or building social and daily living skills, we strive to create a fun, safe, and affirming environment where children can thrive.
We accept and embrace neurodiversity and believe in supporting each child to develop the tools they need to navigate their world with confidence.
Some of our favourite activities are sensory obstacle courses, cause and effect games like Pop the Pig, and learning how to tie shoelaces!
OT For Teens
At Kalos Therapy, we provide specialised occupational therapy (OT) for teenagers, focusing on the unique challenges and transitions of adolescence.
Our approach is supportive and collaborative, helping teens build practical life skills, enhance their independence, and navigate the complexities of school, friendships, and self-identity. Whether addressing sensory needs, executive functioning, emotional regulation, or preparing for future goals such as work or further study, we create a safe and affirming space where teens can explore their strengths and develop strategies that work for them.
We work closely with each teen to ensure they feel understood, empowered, and ready to take on life’s next steps.
Our favourite activities include developing an acceptance of others’ perspectives through games like Hues and Cues and Wavelength, inferencing skills through Geoguessr, planning and problem solving games like Rush Hour, and activities that support self-awareness, introspection, and self-acceptance.
