Student Occupational Therapy Services
Supporting our community while supporting future therapists
At Kalos Therapy, we’re excited to offer low-cost and accessible therapy options through our Student OT Program. This program allows university Occupational Therapy students to work alongside our senior OT, Emma, to provide ongoing therapy services – while gaining valuable clinical experience.
How It Works
Before ongoing sessions begin, clients complete a paid initial assessment with Emma and the student therapist.
This ensures we understand your goals, needs, and whether this program is the right fit.
Following the assessment, eligible clients can access free weekly therapy sessions with a student therapist on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays.
All student sessions are:
-
Delivered by 3rd or 4th year Occupational Therapy students
-
Closely supervised by our principal Occupational Therapist, Emma
-
Guided by clear goals, structure, and regular check-ins
-
Designed to be fun, supportive, and evidence-based

Are not eligible for NDIS or currently have no funding available

Have 1–2 clear, achievable therapy goals
